I have Mac clients that are unable to access any shares on my 2003 server.
The Macs can "see" the server, but are unable to connect. Do I have to share
the folder differently or install some type of service? Do the Macs need to
be joined to the domain? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, this did not help. I tried both ways - creating just a mac share and
and windows/mac share.

Go here and read the stuff on SMB signing
http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/sho...p?threadid=614

There is some general stuff on my blog on the benefits and issues you might
find in joining your Mac clients to the Windows domain, but that is a
seperate issue from your problem with shares

my articles on Mac / AD integration

I'm always surprised at "professionals" who STILL have to be asked:
"Have you checked (event viewer / syslog)".
