I do enable/disable MAC addresses on my router, but
does someone know what those initial stand for ?

Not MacIntosh, of course.

It is short for Media Access Control address, a hardware address that
uniquely identifies each node of a network:
http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/M/MAC_address.html Each computer or
networking device has a unique "address" of that device, beyond the IP
assigned on the Local Area Network.
