Mostly for life, but there are, I believe, some that can be re-assigned
and re-used, TICBW.

if you mean because youve requested it from your isp for transfer - usually
30 days

No that's for transferring a mobile phone number.

Nope, a Migration Auth. Code from your ISP lasts 30days.

A Port Auth. Code from a mobile telephone comapany to port your number
also lasts 30days.

The whole lasts for life business has me confused......
