Dear All,
I have a Netgear MA401 PCMCIA card and the MA301 Wireless PCI
adapter. Installing under Win98SE on a desktop machine, the drivers
required (from the driver CD) are those for the MA301 and not the
MA401. Under the Control Panel | Device Manager the card is listed as
the MA301 rather than MA401 -- and it is reported as 'working
properly'. Is this the expected behaviour? I'm in range of a
wireless access point but the accompanying utility program scans
indefinitely w/o locating it?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Tom Crane.
