I have installed my asdl modem to the Internet port of the WAP, so I
can access the net from my other computer without the other one on.
The one near the tel access also have the wired connection to the WAP.
All works fine at this location.
The other computer with the wireless WMP54G board gave me all kind of
troubles to install, but its working now, unfortunately not
flawlessly.
When I first start that the computer it detect the WAP and a
connection is established. Once I start IE the connection disconnect.
Then I have the Windows-XP message stating, "Wireless connections
available click here to see them" I click choose connect and nothing
happen, except the same message appears again, and again, and again.
Like 10 times I try to connect until it fanilly does connect and I can
start surfing. Once connected it works fine, but I do suffer from
erratic disconnects from time to time.
Signal strenght varies from 5.5 to 18 Mbps which is plenty enough to
surf the net.
Any suggestion will be appreciated,...Thanks!
