lost wep key how do i get connected now??

hey i set my pc up for wireless to a bt home hub and used a wep key now
i would like to do same to my laptop but ive lost my booklet with wep
key etc
what can i do to retrive it? its still on my pc but its like this *****
so ita a problem to find out any help appreciated

The easy way to do that is to setup a new key at the router.

Download this program wirelesskeyview and run it on your pc with the key
installed:-

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/wireless_key.html

You can recover the key and use it on the laptop.

If you look at the back of the HomeHub there is a label. Read the
Wireless Key followed by ten alphanumeric digits.
