Lost my LAN connection after bridge removed

Hi,

I bridged my wireless (8011.b) and LAN connections in my XP machine,
when I removed the bridge, I lost my LAN connection( it says"A network
cable is unplugged").
I uninstalled the network card device driver and reunstalled it but it
didn't help.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
