OK - I see how that could be misunderstood.
It should be read as "NO BY/TW SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED" not "No. BY/TW software is
required."

Thanks Yddap now I know I must call them and arrange to have the
account moved to the new address when we move next week the UBR must
be at least 15 miles away from the present one .
Thanks once again .

She should call Virgin Media on 150 from her VM phone-line (assuming she is
with them for the phone line as well). If not, then use 0845 454 111.

I connected the modem the other day and all the led's came on steady
apart from the router port led but did not have the router or PC with
me they are all in use here at the moment .
Someone here stated that you need to be on the same UBR for the
connection to be working, I just don't know I am no expert regarding
these matters Jono be handy if it did work though .

What does that get you, these days? Some time back it was about 50p
but I think they pushed up prices for the software so it may be more.
Been a long time since I had it on any PCs, and I just use the web
to look at schedules (seeing as I've not watched TV for a while it
would be a bit of a luxury to have the s/w nowadays).
