the file "LSL.com" which is a Novell Netware DOS driver
can not be found (ERROR MESSAGE) appeared while installing
Windows 98se on a cleaned drive ; can I skip and install
later or do I need to locate driver to install correctly.
This is my second attempt at installation because I kept
getting message upon start up

Are you connecting to a Novell Netware server at your home or office where
this machine is located?
The error message indicates that the machine is or was running the Novell
Netware Client software (DOS version) at some point and you or someone else
removed those but some remnants of it remain in one of the system files.
You can continue to load WIndows 98 and it should load fine. Then remove
the extra networking components (such as extra client software that you
don't need). I'd suggest doing that from Control Panel/Networking but you
can remove them manually as well. See the following KB article on how to
remove them manually:
155881 INF: Common Connectivity Errors on Novell Networks
