Lost connection after choosing repair option

I currently have a choice of 2 unsecured wireless connections that are within
range of my home......NETGEAR & linksys.......I wasn't able to connect to my
other computer on the netgear connection so I choose to REPAIR it....After
that, it no longer appears as an available connection .....How do I fix this?
Shouldn't it just reappear on the list again even if I choose to remove it?

Are these your wireless routers or are you trying to steal bandwidth from a
neighbors connection?
