Check that the router and the wireless card are set to
the same channel, and that you have changed the SSID from
the default value of MSHOME.
On the properties for the wireless network, add your
network to the preferred list, and make sure
that "connect to non-preferred networks" is unchecked.
Which router and wireless card are you using, and which
OSes?
