losing our Internet Connection

We are utilizing MS Server 2003 Enterprise Edition and seem to be losing our
Internet Connection once almost every two hours. Meaning once this happens,
we cannot ping any outside sites, receive or send emails. But (this is the
funny part,) we can still maintain radio station streaming without any break
in its’ sound audio connection.

When this happens we usually IPconfig / Release (we then lose our radio
streaming,) and then /Renew to reestablish our connectivity to the internet
or reboot the Server.

We are new to using MS 2003 Server and leaning as we progress in our small
company.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated…Thank You..Jim B

Jim-I'm having the same problem! I'm curious if it is attributed to a DSO
exploit I have. Do you have this as well? Sorry I am no help but maybe we can
resolve this through our discussion?

Hello Signs Of Orion,

No I do not believe it is DSO (Decision Support Objects, (do not like
acronyms!)) as I do not believe this was installed. I did however, install
DNS (Domain Name Server,) but have not fully configured this module yet. Non
of my event logs point to any thing significant unless I am missing something?
Thank You...Jim B
