Any thoughts on this:

I have several client stations running WXP with manual
map drive letters on a Server 2000 HP machine. All is
fine - except on two W98 machines.

During the day at different times one or the other or
both of these PC will lose their map drive of H: & J:.
Note however - these PC do not lose their Internet or
Email which I have going through the Sonic firewall.

I have trippled checked the network wiring (CAT5e),
loaded all the Windows 98 updates etc. still occurs. I
have since ordered the WinXP upgrade to load on one to
see if this should fix it which I was told it should.
Also note: I have DHCP configured on the firewall and
have manually entered in the DNS info. as well??

Any help thoughts would be appreciated.

Zach

See if this helps ... Try disabling autodisconnect as shown in this article
.... note that the fix needs to be applied to the server, not to the client;
you may have to reboot the client, not the server, once applied.
