Losing Connection

I, along with another user, have been losing my connection to the Public
Folder (Contacts), and our ability to connect to several other users
Calendars and Task Pads for which we normally have access.
When it happens, I get a message from out Outlook (tray) icon telling me
that Outlook it attempting to contact the mail server Uses our mail servers
name of course).IN my case, a connect as window comes up, and once I put my
password in it restores the connection.
Ideas?
Hints?

any errors in the Exchange server event viewer?
