Hello Lanwench,
I've been having basically exactly the same problem with
a Win 2000 workstation and some Macs to a 2003 Enterprise
Server dropping the mounted volumes or mapped shares. Each
logs a security event when the disconnection occurs. The
Win 2000 machine relogs in when we attempt to access
creating a logon event in the security events log. The
Macs must re-authenticate to re-mount the volumes.
Can I use the your script for the logon script in the
profile tab of each user's property window?
Type "net use: /del" exactly and "net use x:
\\servername\%username% /persistent: no" with my
server\user name substituted. Yes?
Your help would be extremely appreciated.
BTW - Great ID.
Thanks,
Chris Yates
