Hello, can anybody help me with this problem, I am using
windows XP Home edition, connected to a laptop via a
broadband connection. The problem that I am having is
that I loose my Broadband connection and cannot connect
to the internet. I must unplug my high speed modem, and
all works fine, this is a reoccuring problem which I have
once every two weeks or so. I tried everthing to keep the
connection active at all times, but that didn't work
either. What can be done so that I don't loose my IP
address that is being asigned by my provider. The
problem seems to be that when my provider changes the IP
Address the router doesn't pick up the new address, I
think this is the problem, I never had this problem
before going wireless, I tried different types of routers
and had the same problem... what can I do to resolve this
problem..

Thank you
