Loosing connection to outlying locations

We have 3 locations A, B and C (to keep things simple). Site A is the
location of the main server which is also an exchange server. It connects to
site B and C thru a WatchGuard VPN firewall using different subnets at
different locations. Location A has 2 Windows 2003 servers. Location B and
C both have a Windows 2000 server running as domain controllers. Location A
has the main domain controller. The problem is that about every 5 days
Location B and C cannot connect to A. I have tried rebooting the routers,
but the only thing that seems to help is rebooting the main server at
location A. I have tried to connect using ip address instead on DNS names
but that does not help. I am getting 3 event errors on the main system. The
first on is in the App log. (event id 1030: Windows cannot query for the
list of Group Policy objects. Check the event log for possible messages
previously logged by the policy engine that describes the reason for this.)
This is the previous message in the App log : Event ID 1058 Windows cannot
access the file gpt.ini for GPO cn=(A5A72D7A-2229-4F67-9F0D … The system
cannot find the specified. The third error is in the Directory Service log.
Event ID: 1864.
Does anyone have any recommendations. We cannot keep rebooting the server
every week. It is causing a ton of problems.

Thanks for all your help,
Brian
