A couple things you might look at, Rob: (1) On the MN-720 side of things,
are you on the proper channel, (2) are you within range of the signal, not
snuggled up next to the refrigerator or beside a washer/dryer combo and (3)
what is set on the MN-700 for your lease time?
If you're on Channel 6, for instance, and your laptop is on 5, you might
drop out. Home environment can play a big part of the signal strength,
including perhaps the base station itself being too close to a wall. And,
if the MN-700 is renewing the lease constantly, it could be an issue. Set
it for two weeks.
Additionally, if the channels are properly matched, try moving from the
default 6 to 1 or 11 and see if there's a difference. Sometimes also the
location of the base station - too high or too low, or next to a monitor
will cause drop-outs.
