loop back address and own IP address

I use only one PC to test client-server application. I have two choice
to test my application.

1>use loop back address to connect from client to server

2>my ip address is 59.93.100.128. I use this address to connect my
server.

what is the difference ???

No difference with linux. It will use the loopback interface.
