I'm using hyper-v and server core, and I'm looking for a good setup article
that supports the virtual networking setup. All I have showing up in my
virtual machines are Psudo network connetions, not any real network
adapters.

The virtual network adapter shows up on the parent server, but the child
server cannot see it.

Any idea's?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim,

Virtual machines always have emulated hardware, you will NEVER see the real
one.

I suggest: "Understanding Networking with Hyper-V"

OK, I've been there, thanks for the link. My boss figured it out. While in
the virtual machine, you need to go to "Action/Insert Integration Services
Setup Disk." Then go into the VM.....

d:
cd support\x86
setup

That is correct. Server Core does not support explorer, so autorun does
not work. You need to go to the correct directory and run the executable.
