Looking for cheapest way to set up wifi hotspot with payment

Have seen some kit available - any experiences and horror stories before i
commit my hard earned !
i will be setting it up for a friend in his cafe - only charging niminal £1
for 30 mins or similar so need set up fees to be
sensible.
