Hi,

sorry to raise this yet again - just want to cross-check my search results
in case I missed any bargains.

Also need to check no horror stories about the proposed kit.

I need 1 AP and 2 USB adapters - 802.11b 11Mb/sec - to extend the reach of
my network, and go fully wireless for a time on a mixed network.

I have the following cheap(?) prices:

2 * USB adapters (Belkin)
http://tinyurl.com/ii60
which is
http://www.dabs.com/products/prod-se...p=&mid=909&tid
=-1&ob=manufacturer&obd=asc&stab=ref&p=wireless+usb+ adapter&lp=&up=&mc=&sc=&
Refine.x=36&Refine.y=7

Less than £28 UKP per adapter seems pretty cheap.

1 * AP (Adaptec)
http://tinyurl.com/ii69
which is
http://www.dabs.com/products/prod-se...p=&mid=519&tid
=-1&ob=price&obd=asc&stab=ref&p=wireless+access+poin t&lp=&up=&mc=&sc=&Refine
..x=24&Refine.y=9

I was hoping to find an AP at a bit less than £53 UKP :-(

I already have

a D-Link DWL-1000 AP,
a couple of D-Link DWL-650 PCMCIA cards,
a couple of Actiontec USB adapters
and a Compaq WL110 in my iPAQ.

TIA
Dave R

Suplementary question - is there anything different apart from a 4 port hub
between

http://tinyurl.com/iilf
which is
http://www.dabs.com/products/prod-se...p=&mid=519&tid
=-1&ob=price&obd=asc&stab=ref&p=wireless+router&lp=& up=&mc=&sc=&Refine.x=40&
Refine.y=12

and the Adaptec AP in my original post?
