I had phoned NTL on the 14th Nov, to cancel my 1 year contract (ends 14th
Dec) - they told me they would send me a MAC code within 7 days, but I got
cut off in the middle of the call.

I called them back, and they said the person I spoke to had ensured I would
get the MAC code sent.

Today, I called back to ask where it was - they took my details again and
said the MAC department said "he will receive his MAC now within 7 days".

Could have been genuine error - or perhaps sour grapes?

Just because you don't think you are paranoid does not mean they are not out
to get you!

Heads-up - NTL just sent me a mail saying "Your MAC will be with you in 5
days" - then they sent another mail saying - "Here it is" - I take back what
I said, LOL
