Spec:
Windows 98 Second Edition (English)
Internet Explorer 6 SP1
FrontPage 98 (FrontPage Server on Port 80)
PCI Network Card (for a broadband network)

Network Config:
TCP/IP
Ethernet Adapter
Client for Microsoft Networks
>Windows Logon (Selected)

Usernames:
Windows 98 SE was registered to "XXXXXX".
FrontPage Server was built on server name "YYYYYY".

Now I am facing:
Every time I boot up Win 98 SE, every time I get prompt for a username
and password (left it blank already).
1) If I leave both boxes blank and click cancel, FrontPage detects its
TCP/IP setting as servername "XXXXXX" and I cannot open the webs on
YYYYYY within.
2) If I enter the username "YYYYYY" as the Windows Logon, everything
runs OK.

I want:
No Logon Prompt while boot up,
No installation TweakUI (For automatic bootup),
Cannot move the FrontPage Server content or edit the server name YYYYYY,
Cannot change the XXXXXX for Windows registration.

Many thanx!

Marco

PS:
I read it already, but I don't understand those computer language...

*Note: If you have user profiles this will not work as stated in the article and
you will have to perform the steps in the link provided in the article for user
profiles.

How to Prevent a Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me Logon Prompt at Startup

It has also been advised that you do not use the article Q135586, which has a
link included in the article. Its purpose is “to clear the User Name logon box
so it is blank each time you start Windows”, it is not meant to prevent the
logon box from prompting you for a name/password.
Instead if you have TweakUI installed, check to make sure the “Clear Last User
At Logon” check box is not checked. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel,
double click Tweak UI, click the Paranoia tab, if the box is checked, uncheck
it.
