Logon not me

I have purchased a used laptop that has a logon name
already entered... it does not require a password or I
could cancel out. How do I get it to not ask for log in
or to set myself up as a user/administrator and delete
prior owner? Thanking you in advance! Debbie

Type over that name with any name you want.
