If I want to determine where and how a user has logon on
to the network in the event log what am I looking for?
This may sound like a simple question be let me give
scenario.

A user logs on from a node on the LAN; I can tell the user
and the workstation he has logon from. Now let's say the
same user logons from a VPN session from his computer at
the house. What value identifies that he logon from a
remote station on a VPN session?
