logon failure: the target account name is incorrect

Two SBS2003 servers, two different domains. I can browse server A from
server B via network places. When trying to browse server B from server A, I
get:
logon failure: the target account name is incorrect
I can map if I use this format:
net use x: \\ip_address\share
If I try to map using:
net use x: \\server_name\share
I receive the old "logon failure: the target account name is incorrect"
Any help appreciated
