Logon failure - invalid drive sepcification

Logging on from a Dell with 98se to an NT server. When I
logon to the server I get the message "Invalid Drive
Specification and then "WIndows Restarting".

At this time it is impossible to get in with admin or any
other logon. Any ideas would be helpful.

I'd guess this isn't a network problem at all, but a failing hard drive in
the client PC.
