Login window with domain field

I have had some troubles with my W98 installation lately.
Now I still have some troubles. I used to have a login
window with 2 fields (Name and Password), but now W98
starts with a panel which asks for a domain too.
I don't have a domain. How can I get rid of this domain
field?

Go to Control Panel | Network, click Client for Microsoft Networks,
click Properties, and clear all of the Windows NT domain boxes.
