A windows 98 laptop is having an odd issue when logging
in.

The laptop is configured to log into a windows nt 4.0
domain. Sometimes, after a username and password is
entered, nothing happens. You are at the desktop but
what you notice is that the login script never ran. When
you try to map a drive to some network access, one of two
things happen. One, the user is denied access. Two, the
login script all of a sudden runs and they have full
network access.

It's almost as though the login authentication paused and
forgot to finish it until you wake it up. This is
happening only on this one laptop.

Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a fix?

Thank you.
