When I installed the wireless base station software to my
computer, it had this log on thing with a domain and
everything. When I click cancel, the file/printer sharing
doesn't work and the network isn't available in network
neighborhood. When I click ok, leaving the password blank
and the domain with the wireless network name, it goes,
then says no domain server could validate the password. I
click ok and it goes to my desktop and the network works.
Can my computer just turn on right to the desktop like it
used to instead of loading the login screen. In the
network button in control panel, it says default logon is
client for microsoft networks.

You have to logon to gain access to a network. You can enable an automatic
logon later once you resolve your problem. Use the properties of Client for
MS Networks and clear the checkmark in the box next to log on to NT domain.
You don't have one unless you a server operating system.
