Logging on to my network

I am trying to log onto my network, but when I do i get
the following message after trying:

"No domain server was available to validate your password"

Does anyone know what I am supposed to do?

Does your network have a server computer acting as a domain
controller?

If it doesn't:

1. Go to Control Panel | Network.
2. Double click "Client for Microsoft Networks".
3. Un-check the "Log on to Windows NT domain" box.

If it does, consult with the network administrator.
