While snooping around in settings for my MN-100 that I
probably should not even be looking at I notice the
following type of entry filling the entire log. Just
about once every 2 - 3 minutes it comes up...

2004/05/20 22:39:40 Connection attempt to base station
from WAN blocked -- src:<xx.xxx.xx.xx:xxxxx>
dst:<xx.xx.xxx.x:xxx x>

Anyone out there with a firmer grasp on things know what
this is in common English.

Thanks...
Curious

It means that the router firewall **blocked** an access
attempt from the Internet to your network.

In general these are port scans going over every Internet
IP looking up for potential vulnerabilities. Hopefully,
the firewall blocks them -- everybody gets plenty of
them. Just do **not** uncheck the firewall checkbox on
the router.
