from what I understand with the use of my own AP (Compaq WL410) you can with
the software that came with the unit, called "AP Manager".
However, your AP (unknown brand?) May not have this sofware available to it.
Check the manual, If its a "WaveLAN Network" (Orinoco?/Compaq, transparent
bridges)
you should be able to do this...
