Hi, I've just installed Windows Server 2003, with SQL Server, Sharepoint,
and stuff. Until yesterday I was able to connect by Remote Desktop from
another pc, and to the Sharepoint Site. I don't know what I changed, but I'm
not able anymore.(I also installed Live Communications Server.). I'm a
newbie at this, so that would explain why am I so lost here.
The error I'm getting when I try the Remote Desktop connection is "The Local
Policy of This System Does Not Permit You to Logon Interactively". I've
looked at the web, but none of the resolutions recommended seem to work.
When I try to access my sharepoint site, the error is "you're not authorized
to view this page".
Any ideas?
Pls if so, send my an email to jebernasconi AT yahoo.com.ar
Thanks a lot!
Gracias!
Jorgelina

At least you got a more relevant group here. Don't crosspost.

In Server 2003, click on Start -> Help and Support, then type "Log On
Interactively" in the search box. Follow the information you find to
fix your issue.

Thanks Jeff for your help, but not for your manners... I said I'm a newbie
at Windows, (but not at other programs, I've participated a lot in other
newsgroups, and solved many other people problems... ) so I don't think it's
a crime not knowing what newsgroup is the most relevant for my problem,
because I don't know what kind of problem is it...
I've already tried Windows Help & Support, but the resolutions recommended
there are not working (i.e. adding users to "Allow log on locally")
thanks anyway
Any other ideas?

I have the same problem and the only way I was able to
get it to work was to add the "Everyone" group to the Log
on Locally security setting.
