I think you need to consult with a network specialist to get your Cisco
routers configured correctly, for one thing. If both are set to the same IP
address your WAN will fall on its face in a very spectacular way. If they
are configured incorrectly your local network will suffer some very
interesting problems.
For your immediate problem, not being able to ping the default gateway, what
are your current TCP/IP settings? What are the current IP address, netmask,
default gateway, etc? What address is the Cisco router currently at? Is
the router at your site correctly configured to hand out IP addresses and
such?
