Hello,

I have two computers running Suse Linux 9.0 professional. Both are
connected via a WL114 Sitecom Router. I am fairly new to Linux and so I
first strted to figure out all the other things like the KDE desktop and
so on. But now I want to have my network back like I had in Windows. So
I figured out I had to have the LISa deamon running. It was easy to
configure using YaST and my IP and networkmask is set up like:
192.168.123.121/255.255.255.0 and 129.168.123.127/255.255.255.0 so both
are in the same IP-range and have the same network mask. I haven't
figured out yet how to make LISa start up at boot. I have to edit the
sysconfig files for that but don't know which one and what the commands
are. Maybe someone can help me with that.
But I did already figure out that I can make LISa run from the shell as
root by typing 'lisa': So far so good I thought. So I entered
'lan://localhost' in my Konqueror webbrowser and yes! The 127 PC 'sees'
my router. It shows the map of 192.168.123.254. When I click on it I
get the installation page for my router, ok... But he doesn't ' see' my
other 121 PC. The 121 PC though ' sees' only my 127 PC (not my router).
It is shown in Konqueror as a map. When I click on it, a display says
'Unknown host 192.168.123.127' ...?!
Both are configured using YaST and both are configured the same way,
using and setting up the same IP-range as trusted hosts and the same
networkmask.

I hope someone can tell me what did I do wrong and how I can browse
through my files from one PC to the other and maybe also tell me how and
what file to edit so that LISa will start at boot.

Thanks in advance!

Jack
