Tried to install linux-wlan for my DLink wireless card. Compiled the
prism2_pci driver and followed all the instructions..

the module does not load however... comes up with a bunch of 'unresolved
symbol's when I try to insmod. Anyone know how to fix this? Has anyone got
this to work?

Thanks in advance
Kaushik

All of them? Including the one about having configured your kernel
sources to match the kernel you're running?

Copy that file to where your kernel sources are (typically something
like /usr/src/linux) but rename it to ".config". Then do "make
menuconfig" and just save and exit.

For one thing you should use "modprobe" instead of insmod because the
wlan drivers have a couple of parts that need to be loaded in the right
order. If that still doesn't work, then it is probably that you have
compiled against kernel sources that were not configured the same as the
kernel you are actually running.

Yes, although not on a D-Link card.

Thanks for pointing that out.. I missed that. Will give it another shot.
Thanks
