If you're open to using a USB device, I'll recommend Zydas chipset
devices like the Airlink AWLL3026 or the GIGAFAST WF748-CUI. You can
download and build the driver from
http://www.atheros.com/RD/downloads/...ad_ZD1211B.htm
There's also a rewrite of this driver called zd1211rw in the latest
2.6 kernel tree. This is a work in progress & I haven't gotten it to
work.
