linux vpn client behind dlink doing nat on 2.6

Hello, is it possible to establish a vpn connection behind a dsl
router. I am unable to find the kernel patch for vpn mascarade for
fedora rc3. I am able to connect but i can ping the remote address. I
see a lot of gre traffic outgoing but not incomming.

What VPN are you using? I'm running OpenVPN and it works through NAT.

OpenVPN comes with some Linux distros and there's also a Windows version.

i got open vpn, can use it to connect over pptp to my firewall, i have
radius auth in the pix to authenticate to a windows machine. No shared
key. Can anyone post the config needed to connect to my pix router
using username and password? thanks.

No, you can't use OpenVPN to connect to pptp. Use one or the other.
OpenVPN is more secure than pptp.
