I have a linux server and want Windows clients (using WinSCP, putty,
cygwin etc.) to log onto the server. When a user logs on, a script
must be run doing all kinds of stuff like mounting drives etc. Using
the .bashrc file works fine when logging in using a Linux client, but
not with Windows. Anyone had a problem like this before?

Why doesn't the .bashrc work with Windows? What errors do you get?

OK, so you're a Ph.D. Just don't touch anything.
