I started with the highly recommended FAQ:
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_Tourrilhes/Linux/
Browsed through the Wireless LAN drivers links and found:
Mark S. Mathews is the maintainer of the Prism and Prism II based cards ...
http://www.linux-wlan.com/linux-wlan/
Hardware Compatibility:
http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz
Looked for available cards with linux "support" in the matrix and found only
B cards, I researched and read as much as I could before buying the card.
Linux-wlan-ng support and went to:
ftp://ftp.linux-wlan.org/pub/linux-wlan-ng/FAQ
Tried to build from source with no luck, but the FAQ pointed to these RPM
builds:
http://prism2.unixguru.raleigh.nc.us/
Which included FC1 RPMs, with the kernel I had installed (2188 build).
Installing the RPMS was not enough, but it gave me the drivers I could use
to add the wireless card using "neat", plus adding the WEP keys and such.
