linux configuration for home network

I have a home network with two computers: the server with Wxp home edition,
the client with Linux mandrake 9.2.

I am trying but I cannot configurate Linux for Internet.

Can anybody tell me how to do it?

providing some basic information would be nice:
what do you mean "the server with Wxp"? is the xp machine acting as a
router/NAT/gateway for the linux box?
do you have a router?
do you have cable/ADSL/dial-up?
what have you tried? what has failed?

You really are not providing enough information for anyone to help you,
Carlos. Do you use dialup internet or broadband, do you use a router or is
one of the computers supposed to be a router for you, etc. Perhaps you will
find these links useful, they may help you.
