I have:

-Linksys Wireless access point router BEFW11S4 ver 3.

-Dell inspiron 2600 running Windows xp
This dell connects to the router above using Linksys WPC11 ver 3

-I also have a Dell dimension running Win Me attached to the router above by
cat 5 cable.

PROBLEM: I applied sp1 on the wireless node (the xp machine) and now cannot
browse or visit news servers. E-mail works fine.

The node wired to the router works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Partner I have been having this issue too with an 11S4 v1 I have been
using with Win 2K machines. I have had the router going on 2 1/2 years
and all of a sudden, I have extream issues getting on <g> server. I can
send emails and surf the Web with no problems. At times, I can get on to
<g> server with no issues, other times it's Hell. To get out of it, I
have to power the machines off and reboot machines. There are times when
one machine has troulbes and another machine on the network doesn't have
trouble.

Other times I can run with no trouble. Most of the time, it happens when
I let a machine goes into PSW protection, and I must log back on to a
machine.

I have also had it happen when going in between <G>'s I think it's an ISP
issue, but I cannot prove it to them.

I hear your pain and you're not alone.

Duane

What happens if you use the IP address of the server, rather than the
name? Check the Hosts file or rename it and see what happens.

I took the lazy way, uninstalled sp1(a), e-mailed the manufacturer, and now
enjoy browsing again.

Thanks for your help.
