Linksys WUSB11 v2.5 Firmware Version?

I bought this Linksys WUSB11 ver 2.5 used. Owner claimed it never
worked and he flashed the firmware. Since there is no firmware on the
Linksys site, it might
be that he flashed it with the wrong stuff. The FW version
is reported as 1.03.04.00.
Serial number is B411120824
Can anyone tell from those numbers whether the correct firmware is
installed? If you have one, the FW version can be displayed by the
config utility.
If not, where can I get the correct FW to reflash it?

The thing says it's connected, but can't do any data transfer.
The Sent packet box sits at zero while the received packed box
increments. My Belkin unit works on this machine, so I'm confident
i know how to set up the WEP settings. Maybe there's something else
weird in this config utility?

I tried Linksys Customer Support, but their submission page seems to be
configured to prevent any possibility of submitting a request. Requires
a model number, but won't let me input/select one.

hmmm, i thought the wusb11 dont support firmware flashing, anyway if you got
untilities to flash it, you might have more luck looking for prism 2.5
firmware, since wusb11 v2.5 is base on prism chipset and not amtel like the
others... g'luck

I would first power cycle modem, if any, and then restart the router, if
any. See if that helps. Otherwise, set the router to to basics, no
WEP, MAC filtering, and see if it can connect. I have also had some
luck with this problem by setting all the card parameters manually in
device manager, even if using Windows to manage the connection.

You might try the linksys ftp site which reportedly has files that the
web site does not list. ftp://ftp.linksys.com is the address I have.

excellent suggestion. I did find one fw install, for an unspecified
version. But I don't have a lot to lose at this
point.
