Is it me or is Linksys Wireless technology a pile of poo? Thats the
impression I get from experience and from reading some other peoples posts.
My issue is I have a Linksys WUSB11 wireless card that can have a consistent
wireless connection for hours, then all of a sudden it will disconnect, then
reconnect a few seconds later, then disconnect again, until eventually it
disconnects and causes explorer.exe and I end up having to reboot my pc.
Operating system is Windows XP Pro.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I've had the same thing happen with an Orinoco Gold card and Windows 98.
One thing you can try is opening a command prompt and typing "ipconfig
/renew_all" without the quotes of course and seeing if it will renew the IP
address and reconnect.
BTW the XP laptop here in the office will reconnect but it has built in
wireless. I run a tail on the Radius server and I've seen it log in 4 times
in a minuite.

Are you using a laptop? Check that power saving is not enabled for
your WUSB.

Have you recently patched Windows XP? Are you using the Windows Network
Control panel to configure your card?

Install the Linksys drivers and utilities. Configure your card with the
Linksys utilities.

Windows network configuration broke my connection a few months back and it
took me a month to find the solution.

I have 3 Linksys products and I love them.
