(That's the GC - 'compact' - not the more common variant)

Two machines on the LAN, one a desktop, the other a web server serving a few
pictures. Pictures are visible to the WAN, so the server is working fine.
Pictures are visible to the desktop machine when addressed by LAN IP, but
not visible when the site URL (or IP) is used.

http://192.168.123.20/others/badgerflange.jpg works from LAN (but not WAN,
obviously)
http://82.29.4.241/others/badgerflange.jpg works from WAN, but fails from
LAN

82.29.4.241 is the current IP of my connection (this is dynamic - I use
DYNDNS to map to a domain - though this isn't relevant to this problem).

This setup has worked previously using my old SMC Barricade router - it
worked right out of the box.

In the Advanced Routing config of the Linksys I've tried both Gateway and
Router modes. No joy. I guess I could set up a static route, but I imagine
that would break if/when my connection provider changes my IP.

I'm not really expecting a fix, I guess really I just want to know if this
is expected behaviour for routers in general. For other reasons this Linksys
probably isn't going to be of much use to me - but is the next product I try
going to behave in the same way?

ps. It's not specific to port 80, and it's not a firewall issue.
