Linksys wrt54gc and airport express?

Currently have the linksys router connected to my desktop with ethernet to
lan port on the router. No broadband so this appears to be the only solution
for me.

Linksys works great for wireless file, print and dialup internet with my
laptop.

I would like to add the airport express to the network for extending the
range for my laptop (hope this is clear)

The AE works great as a separate network for streaming ITunes from the
laptop to my home theater.

I have done a lot of searching on Google, and in the Apple discussion groups
but can't seem to get an answer from the Apple group.
