Linksys wrt54G keeps dropping connections

Has anyone had problems with the WRT54G router and Netgear or
USRobotics 16-bit wireless cards? I had these cards working fine with
the Linksys wireless B router, but when i put up the new G router,
these two cards couldn't get a stable connection. Routers had all same
settings. They only connect until i try to hit a webpage. As soon as
they transmit, the cards lose connection to the router. But i do use
an SMC (32bit) card that works fine with no problem. These cards
(16bit) are problematic under W98SE, W2K, and XP. As i said, they were
fine under the B router, and even a Belkin, but not the '54G. All
latest firmware involved. Anybody see this? Did linksys ever make
16bit cards?
Any help would surely be appreciated.
