LinkSys WRT54G dropping idle TCP connections

Hello,

I just picked up a LinkSys WRT54G router/WAP. It's a version 5 model,
with the 1.0.0 firmware.

It seems to be dropping idle TCP connections, in particular idle ssh
sessions, after about 15 minutes. My previous router/WAP didn't do
this. I can't find any documentation about how long NAT translations
should take to time out on this router, or any way to see active NAT
connections or increase the timeout.

Does anybody know if the WRT54G drops idle TCP connections this
quickly, and if so how to fix it?

Thanks!

---ScottG.

Right, I have same problem with several models of Linksys routers.
Fiddling with ssh options like keep-alive did not help.
